Location: Totnes, Devon, UK

Details:

Would you like to:

Have an experience of transition work; learn about the early stages of transition; exxperience varied styles of learning, participations, facilitation; experience a personally deepening journey into the inner dimension of transition; meet other people involved in transition initiatives and share experiences, difficulties and successes?

Ever wanted to know:

§ How do we do community visioning?
§ What comes after awareness raising?
§ What about ethical differences within the initiating group?
§ Am I doing the right thing at any one point?
§ Need inspiration, self belief!
§ Needing a range of facilitation skills- from small groups to large public meetings.
§ When do you start doing things, and how do you know when you have done enough awareness raising?
§ How can we sustain momentum?
§ What is the right scale for a Transition Initiative? When is a city too large to have one transition group, and how do you structure that?
§ What do we do about conflict?

If so, the two day Transition Training in Totnes is open for booking. Email training[at]transitionnetwork.org to book, or check the website, www.transitionnetwork.org for more details of the training. At £100 or thereabouts it's not cheap, but a page of accolades on the website confirms many have found it worth it. If the cost would be a problem, there are some bursaries, and Transition Exeter would be prepared to contribute to training our active members. Spaces are limited so apply early.
