Planning for community gardens
What you need to know for your project

Details: The workshop will provide a straight-forward introduction to the town planning process, and what elements of a community garden may require planning permission.
Advice will be given on making applications, from fencing to polytunnels, and on how to undertake discussions with your local authority.
The workshop will be led by Peter Whitehead, Chartered Town Planner and Community Planner with the charity South West Planning Aid.
The event is FREE. All participants are required to make a £10 refundable deposit to secure their place. Cheques will be returned to participants on the day. Places are limited so early booking is essential, to book please contact Sara Melendro at sara@farmgarden.org.uk - 01752 267293
