Leon Rosselson

Date: 10 October 2010
Location: Bike Shed Theatre

Details:

Leon Rosselson is a singer and songwriter, whose songs - sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, always intelligent and challenging - should really be known by a much wider audience. His best known songs are 'The World Turned Upside Down' ( made famous by Billy Bragg) and 'Don't Get Married Girls', which has become a bit of a feminist anthem.

Adults: Leon will be playing for one night only at the Bikeshed Theatre in Exeter on Sunday the 10th October at 8pm. Tickets are £10 ( £8 concessions) and all profits are going to Exeter Palestinian Solidarity Campaign. Tickets are available at www.bikeshedtheatre.co.uk

Children: Leon is also well known as a children's song and story writer, and is the author of 17 children's books.  He will be performing for children earlier on in the day, between 3 and 4 p.m., again at the Bikeshed theatre. Tickets will be £5 for one adult with child, £2.50 for any extra children, under twos free. Tickets available from www.bikeshedtheatre.co.uk

Don't miss this opportunity to hear one of folk music's legends while he is here in Exeter!
